This was our family home of over 40 years so it was quite important to us to not only to get a deal worthy of this significance but also to make it an experience that was pleasant. Simon gave us both.
Simons knowledge and experience was really eye opening and unlike the other agents we were initially considering, it never felt like he was trying to sell somthing to us, rather a friendly chat about how he could assist us on achieving what we wanted. This alleviated any pressure or obligation to choose him which ensured we made the right decision and we certainly did that.
My favourite part of this was Simon's communication and availability. Even if there was nothing new to discuss he would call to see if we had any questions or needed anything. Couple this with the fact Simon did not once promise somthing he could not deliver and you will get a fair idea on why we are very glad to have had found him to guide us through this usually nerve racking experience.
When the auction came around we got to witness him in action and the only way I can really summarise what I saw was, it was like Simon was selling his own home. The effort to work that auction and liaise constantly with the potential buyers to ensure we got what we wanted was clinical and professional in a respectful manner and he really made the auctioneers job easier too.
He even called us up a couple weeks after we had sold our home just becasue we had spoken so much during the process, he wanted to touch base and just say hello. Class.
In closing I would reccomend Simon to anyone wanting the same experience as us as in an industry full of sales, unfulfilled promises and sweet talking agents out to get their commission and move on to the next sale, Simon is a breath of honest fresh air.
