We first met Grant through a “Cold Call” from him in May 2023 inquiring if the property would be available for sale. We were looking to sell, & the partnership commenced from there. We did look at other agents, but Grant impressed us with his straightforward, honest, no “nonsense” approach. & Grant has an excellent sense of humour, which makes “working” with him all the more comfortable & pleasant.
Grant introduced us to Ben, & they helped arrange trades people to get the property ready for sale, They also gave us support which was well above & beyond the normal Salespersons activities.
Their additional help went from shoveling dirt to wrestling with “entrenched” items that needed to be removed before sale but were stubbornly not co-operating. And Ben very kindly worked in with our restricted time frame & spent a couple of hours on his day off conducting the pre-settlement inspection with the purchasers.
Grant advised we should go to Auction and the first open home brought in an unexpectedly large number of people. Throughout the campaign Grant, Ben & the Shire Realty team kept us constantly up to date with the progress.
Grant’s knowledge became very evident as we drew closer to Auction Day. Grant had been giving us revised valuations on the property, based on purchaser interest. His final Value range was extremely close to the value range provided a couple of days pre-auction by an independent valuer.
Grant & Ben’s, strategic marketing resulted in our Solicitor commenting that he had never seen so many contract inquiries from prospective buyers (through their solicitor’s) in his entire career (some 30+ years).
Grant’s advice, guidance & help with Ben’s support & the efforts of the (excellent) auctioneer, contributed to us achieving a sale result, which well exceeded our expectations.
